Tu Dao, OD
Dr. Dao is specialized in ocular disease management, primary care, soft contact lens, scleral lens, post and pre-operative care. Dr. Dao loves to interact with his patients and make sure that every patient understands all the findings in the exam and answers any questions that they might have.
Dr. Dao graduated with a Bachelor’s Degree in Biology and Minor in Chemistry at Louisiana State University in Baton Rouge, Louisiana. He then went on to pursue his optometry career at UIW Rosenberg Optometry School in San Antonio, TX.
During his time at RSO, Dr. Dao has been trained to care and manage different types of ocular diseases. In his fourth year, he completed his externships at Fort Sam Houston where he experienced a lot of anterior ocular disease, and with Dr. Sharp where he sees a lot of glaucoma treatments and management.
Dr. Dao has a very outgoing personality and brings a very diverse atmosphere to the practice. He is fluent in English, Vietnamese, and some Spanish. Dr. Dao currently lives in San Antonio, TX and when not at work, he enjoys his automotive hobby.
