Dr. Herrera graduated from Incarnate Word University, where he obtained his bachelor's in vision science in 2014 and his Doctorate of Optometry in 2018

He did his externship at the Amarillo VA where he focused on glaucoma and post operative cataract care. This was followed by the community eye center in Fort Worth where he further honed his skills in glaucoma management as well as diabetic retinopathy.

When Dr. Herrera is not busy at work, he's busy smoking some ribs and spending time with his beautiful wife and his crazy dachshund sushi.
